1. Angelo Betti
Most locals in Rotterdam are familiar with Angelo Betti. For generations and generations this is the place for the best pizza in Rotterdam. And we certainly agree! On the menu you can choose from over 30 pizzas, all of which are topped with fresh ingredients. Yum!
In addition to a pizzeria, Angelo Betti is also a gelateria. So you can also visit them for the tastiest Italian ice cream.

2. Old Scuola
Old Scuola sits on a nice spot in the Industrial Building in the center of Rotterdam. As a real pizza lover, you’re at the right place here! At Old Scuola they prepare the Fior di latte mozzarella, buffalo mozzarella and burrata according to their own recipe. The fresh ingredients come from Dutch water buffalo and cows.
At Old Scuola they also serve beer, wine and all kinds of house-made drinks: Jasmin iced tea, ginger lemonade… Delicious!

3. De Pizzabakkers
With a name like De Pizzabakkers (meaning ‘the pizza bakers’) you can expect tasty pizzas! Fortunately, they certainly do serve good pizzas. The complex dough preparation process ensures that the thin bottom is deliciously crispy. After the pizzas are topped with exclusively fresh ingredients, they are baked in Italian wood ovens. In addition to the pizzas, De Pizzabakkers is known for their prosecco’s; they serve different co*cktails with prosecco.

4. O’Pazzo
Another place for delicious, fresh pizzas is O’Pazzo on the Mariniersweg. In their traditional wood oven they prepare pizzas with fresh, sustainable Italian ingredients. The pizzas of O’Pazzo are known for the original Napolitan recipe.
At O’pazzo you can also order other Italian dishes, such as pasta, salad, Italian risotto and a number of fish and meat dishes. At O’Pazzo there is really something for everyone!

5. Gusto
At Gusto they try to work with as many organic products as possible, and prepare their pizzas with fresh ingredients. The menu changes regularly at Gusto, because their dishes depend on the current season. On the menu you will also find various vegetarian options, and they have gluten-free bread and pasta.
But we definitely would go for their tasty pizzas. For example, order the pizza of the month, the delicious Quattro Formaggi or the Gamberetti e Granchio.

6. Sugo

You can find Sugo on various locations in the Netherlands: in Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Utrecht and of course in Rotterdam!
At Sugo they serve pizza al taglio, which is a pizza variant that is baked on large rectangular plates and cut into long pieces. Pizza al taglio means ‘pizza that has been cut’. It’s not an easy product to make, because the bottom of the pizza has to be perfect. That is why the pizza bakers at Sugo give a lot of attention and have a big passion for their profession.

7. PizzaBar di Vicini
Have you already heard of Pizzabar Di Vicini in Kralingen? With their delicious oven-fresh pizzas and great atmosphere, their restaurant is like a pizza party every day!
You can find pizza chef Ayad Ezzarouali in the kitchen between 16:00 and 20:30, to provide everyone with thin, crispy, fluffy, gluten-free or veggie/vegan pizzas from the plate. Everything is possible! Also make sure to try the homemade lasagna; they say it’s really good!

8. Osteria Pizzeria Andiamo
Since 2018 Pizzeria Andiamo has been located in Delfshaven. The owners and staff are from Italy and you can taste it in the food they prepare! The quality dishes are made with the best, fresh ingredients.
On the menu you can find different pizzas, with classics such as Margherita and Marinara. Next to that, they also have a lot of special pizzas. For instance, the Pizza Pistacchio, Pizza Vulcano and the Pizza Andiamo.

Do you like authentic Italian food? Then Due Tonino is the restaurant for you. As soon as you enter the restaurant, it feels as if you’re in Italy and you’re immediately welcomed by the friendly staff and brought to your table. On the menu there is a wide selection of pizzas. This great Italian restaurant is located at the Meent in Rotterdam. Napoli is always busy, so it is certainly advisable to make a reservation.

11. La Pizza Centrum
At La Pizza they make delicious pizzas from a traditional wood-fired stone oven. Order the classic Margherita, Calzone, Pizza marinara, Pizza con tonno or one of the many other options. Furthermore, on the menu you can find tasty snacks, antipasta, and the tastiest Italian desserts.
La Pizza has a branch in the center, in Rotterdam Noord at Bentinckplein and in the Foodhallen at the Wilhelminakade.

12. Osteria Liz
Osteria Liz is a cozy restaurant in the Liskwartier in Rotterdam. Here you can find the real Italian espresso, pizza, pasta, risotto and authentic Italian dishes. The simple, pure dishes are fun to share together, so you can easily try a lot from their menu.

13. Burro e Salvia
Burro e Salvia, which is Italian for butter and sage, is a traditional pasta factory on the Kaap in Rotterdam. The combination of butter and sage is a simple, but certainly surprising way to bring flavour to pasta.
At Burro e Salvia you can expect delicious pastas, but they also serve different type of pizzas. Such as the Vegan Calzone with tomato sauce, eggplant, spinach, carrot and zucchini, or the Deliplein with mozzarella, arugula, parmesan, walnuts, mushrooms and balsamic vinegar.

15. Vegan Pizza Bar
Whether you are vegan or not, the pizzas from the Vegan Pizza Bar are a must try! Here they have made the tastiest creations with all fresh, plant based ingredients. The cheese is made according to their own recipe, and of course completely vegan.
At the time of writing, you can choose from ten different pizzas. Some of my personal favourites are the Pizza Karma Shoarma, the Pizza Bella Bianca and the Pizza Margherita.
Please note: Vegan Pizza Bar only offers take away and delivery. Great for a vegan pizza party at home!
