Now for whether their interpretations work well as films, independent of Ray: that's another story. Dave C An artistic mix of talent and storytelling vision applied by different directors, bringing some of Satyajit Ray’s short stories to the screen. The first two are brilliant, delivering quality writing, and great performances, making for really engaging stories. The third instalment is a little less surreal and magical than the director is intending, with a weaker story… and then the final episode flops with a messy script, poor direction, and a general feeling of self-love being played out. I am glad there hasn’t been another series/anthology, as I am not sure it would be any more impactive than this manages Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/09/24 Full Review Aziz T Extremely time wasting Series made up by joining 5 different stories having no interlink. It wasted my time Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Suraj A This has nothing to do with Satyajit Ray, they just used his name and distorted his work to such an extent that it became an insult to the great Satyajit Ray Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/25/22 Full Review Read all reviews
